In a significant administrative move, the Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday night announced a massive reshuffle within its police force, transferring 17 Indian Police Service (IPS)<\/strong> officers and 96 Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS)<\/strong> officers across the Union Territory. This marks the first major shake-up since Nalin Prabhat<\/strong> took over as Director General of Police (DGP)<\/strong> in October last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reshuffle Affects Key Divisions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The large-scale transfer exercise touches almost every aspect of policing in the Union Territory \u2014 from field-level operations to forensic departments and special security units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
