Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. B.K. jointly inaugurated the Prime Minister Jan Aushadhi Kendra on Wednesday at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Jaswantnagar. and Superintendent Dr. Virendra Singh, who cut the ribbon to formally open the center.
The center operators, Ayush Tiwari and Rahul Shakya, provided details about the availability and quality of the medicines. The CMO stated that this is one of the flagship schemes of the government, aimed at providing high-quality medicines at low prices to economically weaker and middle-income patients.
In addition to medicines, surgical equipment will also be available at the Jan Aushadhi Kendra.The center will sell all medicines at prices 50% to 90% lower than market rates.
Prominent attendees at the event included Dr. Vikas Agnihotri, Dr. Vivek Gupta, Dr. Tripti Shukla, pharmacist Bhupendra Singh Yadav, Udayveer Yadav, Chandrakant, and staff nurses Mohammad Asif and Sudit Kumar.
