Etawah, February 22, 2025: : Passengers Seen Hanging on Train Doors, Police and GRP Manage Crowd. Thousands of devotees have gathered at Etawah Railway Station to travel to Prayagraj for the Maha Shivratri holy dip at the Sangam during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. The overwhelming crowd has led to strict security measures being implemented by the administration.
To manage the rush, Circle Officer Ramgopal Sharma, Station Superintendent P.M. Meena, and GRP (Government Railway Police) are closely monitoring the situation, ensuring that passengers board the trains safely for their journey to Prayagraj.
Due to the heavy rush, passengers were seen hanging onto train doors of the Subedarganj Kumbh Special Train from Mathura. The police intervened, removing such passengers and arranging for their travel via additional special trains to ensure a safe and orderly journey.
