PM Modi Takes Holy Dip at Sangam During Maha Kumbh 2025, Performs Aarti
Prayagraj, February 5, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a holy dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh 2025 on the auspicious occasion of Magh Ashtami and Bhishma Ashtami. The Prime Minister also performed aarti, offered prayers, and is expected to address a gathering focusing on nation-building.
PM Modi’s Rituals at Triveni Sangam
Dressed in a saffron sweatshirt and tracksuit, PM Modi arrived at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati and performed the sacred ritual bath. Holding rudraksha beads, he chanted Sanskrit mantras, seeking divine blessings.
Later, the Prime Minister changed into a navy blue kurta, black jacket, and a Himachali woollen cap before performing aarti at the riverbank. The ceremony was attended by several saints, devotees, and dignitaries.
